Do I need an insurance?
Balkan Vagabondz recommends purchasing a travel/accident policy. It is never a bad idea to protect a carefully-planned trip with coverage for delays, illness, lost luggage, and even natural disasters. Insurance can soften the impact of unforeseen events. This article can help you research the industry and find the right travel insurance provider.
To participate in Balkan Vagabondz’ adventures one will need to e-mail a copy of valid insurance that covers the action sport involved in the adventure.
If you are an EU citizen and have The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC or E111) you will be taken care of in any member state public hospital.
Please be aware that action sports are: activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.
For more questions on insurance please contact us.

Third party adventure providers
As a web portal Balkan Vagabondz will be offering adventures provided by third parties. These are carefully selected companies & guides who have suitable programmes / adventures active on the territory of the Balkans and Mallorca. This will be clearly stated in the description of the trip.
In these situations the booking procedure is different. Balkan Vagabondz plays the role of a referral site and does not take responsibility for transport, logistics or anything to do with the tour apart from asking the adventurers to fill in a feedback form at the end of their trip in order to evaluate the level of service received.
As a customer who has chosen to take part in the adventure you are still making your reservation through the website and the well known mini web form on the right hand side of the page. After that you will be re-directed to the third party adventure supplier.
Balkan Vagabondz will not be responsible for anything beyond this point as in this case its role is to promote, advertise, inform and not execute the adventure.
