Prices

How do we source our prices:

  1. Balkan Vagabondz receives a client request.
  2. The BV coordinator then reaches out to all the guides and guiding companies in the network to gather information on possible itineraries, availability and prices.
  3. Once we have all the options we send them to the client so he/she can select the best price, date and itinerary.

Please note negotiating prices is not always possible.

Essentially we are a price, availability and itinerary comparison site that helps people meet their adventure needs and save time along with providing extra customer service and consultation on top of the services you receive. All of this is free of charge as commission is taken from the suppliers.

Itineraries

~ Around Lake Bildinje ~

Let us take you for a magical bike tour around the lake! Lake Blidinje is the biggest mountain lake in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located between the mountains Čvrsnica and Vran at the altitude of 1185m above the sea level. It is 2,5 km long and 2km wide. We will meet at Mostar city centre in the morning and move by minivan to the starting point of the ride, „Hajdučke vrleti“ motel. The tour is about 30km. The total climbing height will be 300m with 200m downhill. This tour is accessible for less experienced bikers. Children can join the tour if accompanied by adults.

~ Exploring Raska Gora’s plateau ~

Raska Gora is a plateau north of Mostar 800m above the sea level, bordered by the Neretva River and Mount Čabul. It offers a beautiful view of the mountains Velež, Prenj, and Čvrsnica. There are many villages and small paths, which make it a great place for mountain biking.

We will meet in the city centre of Mostar in the morning, then go to Goranci (30km away from Mostar) from where we will start the ride. The entire tour is about 30km long. The tour goes 400m uphill and 1200m downhill. The plan is to ride back all the way to the city centre. This is a child-friendly tour.

~ Around the hamlets of Gornje and Donje Zijemlje ~

At 800 meters above sea level, northeast of the mountain Velež, are located the hamlets Gornje and Donje Zijemlje (high and low Zijemlje) The area has a spacious plain with macadam roads, ideal for recreational mountain biking. As usual, we will meet in the centre of Mostar and get in the van in order to reach the starting point of the ride, motel „Sniježna kuća“ on Rujište.
